OUR STORY

Eco-Friendly, Ethical, Sustainable Bridal Gowns

With a background in custom design bridal and formal wear, Founders, Jennifer & Mary found themselves in a position where clients expressed a desire to pass along their gowns to other brides.

Their requests inspired us and Love Me Twice was born: a way to combine our passion for bridal with a desire to include and promote eco-friendly, ethical and sustainable practices.

Founded in 2008, Love Me Twice continues to play a major role in normalising the reuse of garments and inspiring brides to rethink how to tread gently in their wedding planning process.

Pre -loved Consignment Wedding Dresses

Our signature offering since 2008, our brides can select from gently worn, designer sample and even new wedding dresses. Available to purchase and customise to the bride's individual body shape and style.

Our consignment dresses are placed with us by past brides and are curated on a limited time basis. (Meaning, if you find the one, it's best to snap it up!)

Vintage Wedding Dresses

With the charm of decades gone past, Vintage gowns have styling features and fabrics unique to their era.

We curate a limited selection of genuine vintage gowns that we customise to our brides.

We can re - size, re - shape, and modify to step these beautiful gowns into a modern era.

Custom Designs

Are you looking to create a 'new' dress utilising reclaimed or recycled fabrics?

Join our designers in creating your dream dress while utilising ready to access resources.

Reclaimed Fabric Sales

Some gowns just do not find a new opportunity to walk down the aisle..

However, the fabrics may be suited to have a metamorphosis into a new life.

We pull these gowns apart and fabrics are sorted into usable packages available to the general public. You are welcome to select from our reclaimed fabrics to work on your own projects.

These include:

Lace,Embroidery, Silks, bridal satin, tulle, net and linings.

Fabrics are priced according to the time it takes to dis assemble the gowns and the retailing of the parcels.

Hire

We carry a small curated collection of gowns that are available to hire. These gowns are listed in our gown gallery.

If the interest in hire becomes stronger, we will expand the range according to demand.

Alterations

And, of course, we offer specialised bridal alterations.

We have extensive experience in handling and altering wedding dresses from ready to wear bridal brands through to the highest end couture.

We accept alterations for gowns purchased in store as well as gowns purchased elsewhere.

1: Karen Willis Holmes 'Esther' gown made from fine honeycomb mesh. Closest to size 12 (was altered for the original bride. Measurements on the website

2: Helena Couture, closest size 8. Was custom made from beaded lace with a silk Georgette & French lace skirt. Lined with silk. A truly stunning & luxurious gown ❤️

Both of these gowns are owned by the same bride. The Helena couture gown has almost finished placement with us, so we would love to see if there is a bride who would love it, but might need a lower price 🙌

2: Book an appointment for a fitting to see if you love it!

3: Make an offer! This will either be approved immediately if within pre approved range, or we will check with the owner if suitable.

Transformation ✂️👗

Absolutely love it when brides can see how to make a gown completely their own.

We changed the style of this bodice to suit the bride in both resizing and adjusting the lace detail.

This was one of our gowns, so we had a little spare lace to make these changes.

We love revamping styles as it's the perfect way for brides to capture a vision of a gown in progress, be sustainable and end up with a customised style perfect for them.
